Section 63-3-423 - Requirement of accident reports by municipal corporations; confidentiality of reports

Any incorporated city, town, village, or other municipality, may by ordinance require that the driver of a vehicle involved in an accident shall also file with a designated city department a report of such accident or a copy of any report required under this article to be filed with the department. Any such report shall be for the confidential use of the city department and shall be subject to the provisions of Section 63-3-417.Codes, 1942, § 8172; Laws, 1938, ch. 200.
