Section 63-35-17 - Registration and title of fully autonomous vehicle

(1) A fully autonomous vehicle shall be properly registered with the Department of Revenue in accordance with Section 63-5-39. If a fully autonomous vehicle is registered in this state, the vehicle shall be identified on the registration as a fully autonomous vehicle.(2) A fully autonomous vehicle shall be properly titled in accordance with Chapter 21, Title 63, Mississippi Code of 1972. If a fully autonomous vehicle is titled in this state, the vehicle shall be identified on the title as a fully autonomous vehicle.Added by Laws, 2023, ch. 443, HB 1003,§ 9, eff. 7/1/2023.
