Violation of the provisions of Sections 63-7-201 through 63-7-209 shall be deemed a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment.Laws, 1979, ch. 489, § 7, eff. 7/1/1979.
