Section 65-1-129 - Security officers; definitions

For purposes of Sections 65-1-129 through 65-1-137, unless the context requires otherwise, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed herein:(a) 'Highway Commission' means the Mississippi State Highway Commission.(b) 'Qualified person' means a person who: (i) Has met all the educational and training requirements of a course of study prescribed and conducted by the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers' Training Academy; and(ii) Is of good moral character and has not been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude.Laws, 1979, ch. 373, § 1, eff. 7/1/1979.
