Bonds or other obligations issued pursuant to this chapter and any interest thereon or income therefrom shall be exempt from all taxation, except gift, transfer, and inheritance taxes, in so far as may be within the power of the State of Mississippi so to provide.Codes, 1942, § 8489; Laws, 1934, ch. 218.
