(1) That portion of Mississippi Highway 35 in Leake County beginning at the Scott County Line and extending northerly to the south corporate limits of the City of Carthage is designated and shall be known as the 'Veterans' Memorial Highway.'(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching such highway.
