Section 65-3-45 - "Walter L

(1) The bridge which spans the Back Bay of Biloxi on Interstate Highway 110 between Biloxi, Mississippi, and D'Iberville, Mississippi, known as the 'Back Bay Bridge,' shall be designated and henceforth known as the Walter L. Nixon, Sr., Memorial Bridge.(2) The Mississippi State Highway Department is hereby authorized to erect a suitable memorial marker between the cites of Biloxi, Mississippi, and D'Iberville, Mississippi, at a site to be chosen with the approval of the survivors and family of Walter L. Nixon, Sr.Laws, 1978, ch. 323, §§ 1, 2, eff. 3/2/1978.
