(1) That portion of Mississippi Highway 18, which is situated in Jasper County from the corporate limits of the town of Bay Springs to the Smith County line shall be designated and known as the 'Dr. W. C. Simmons Memorial Highway.'(2) The Mississippi State Highway Department is hereby directed to erect appropriate signs identifying such memorial highway.Laws, 1987, ch. 339, eff. 3/17/1987.
