(1) That portion of Mississippi Highway 12 in Holmes County beginning at the eastern corporate limits of the City of Lexington and extending easterly to the corporate limits of the City of Durant is designated and shall be known as the 'Mallory-Davis Memorial Highway.'(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.
