(1) That segment of U.S. Highway 11 located in Jones County beginning with its intersection with the southern town limits of the Town of Sandersville and extending northerly to its intersection with Main Street, is designated and shall be known as the 'Coach Sim Cooley Memorial Highway.'(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching that segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.
