(1) Mississippi Highway 6 within the State of Mississippi is designated and shall be known as the 'Military Order of the Purple Heart Highway' in honor and gratitude and appreciation for the contributions made by veterans of this state in the defense of and service to this country.(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the highway.Added by Laws, 2014, ch. 327, SB 2586, 1, eff. 7/1/2014.
