(1) The section of Mississippi Highway 12 located in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, beginning at Sturgis-Maben Road in Sturgis, Mississippi, and extending one (1) mile east to Sturgis-Louisville Road in Sturgis, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the 'G. Louis Jones Memorial Highway' in memory of the late former Police Chief Granvel Louis Jones of Oktibbeha, Mississippi.(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.Added by Laws, 2023, ch. 362, SB 2003,§ 1, eff. 3/14/2023.
