(1) The section of Mississippi Highway 35 located in Panola County, Mississippi, beginning at Morrow Road in Courtland, Mississippi, and extending approximately one (1) mile south to Sullivant Road in Batesville, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the 'Constable Raye Hawkins Memorial Highway' in memory of the late former Constable Raye Hawkins of Panola, Mississippi.(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.Added by Laws, 2023, ch. 366, SB 2545,§ 1, eff. 3/14/2023.
