(1) The segment of Mississippi Highway 15 South located in Walnut, Tippah County, Mississippi, beginning at the entrance of the Walnut Fire Department, and running southerly for a distance of one (1) mile, more or less, to the bridge located thereon which crosses Hurricane Creek, due north of Souls Harbor Apostolic Church, is designated and shall be known as the 'Maj. Gen. Alben 'Al' Norris Hopkins, Sr., Memorial Highway.'(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of the highway described in subsection (1) of this section.Added by Laws, 2024, ch. 504, HB 1681,§ 2, eff. 7/1/2024.
