(1) The section of Mississippi Highway 7 located in Lafayette County, Mississippi, beginning at the intersection of Mississippi Highway 7 North and County Road 299 in Oxford, Mississippi, and extending north for approximately one (1) mile to County Road 1018 in Oxford, Mississippi, shall be known as the 'Johnny Morgan Memorial Highway' in memory of the late State Senator and President of the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors, Johnny Morgan.(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.Added by Laws, 2024, ch. 504, HB 1681,§ 9, eff. 7/1/2024.
