(1) That portion of Mississippi Highway 19 in Lauderdale and Newton Counties, beginning at the Alabama state line and extending northwesterly to the Neshoba county line, shall be known as 'Veterans Highway.'(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.
