(1) That portion of Interstate Highway 59 located in Forrest County and in Jones County from the Forrest/Jones County line northerly to its intersection with 16th Avenue within the City of Laurel is designated and shall be known as the 'Lance Corporal Roy M. Wheat Memorial Highway.'(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.
