Section 65-7-55 - Penalty for forbidden use of roads

Any person who uses such road while the same is closed, or removes such obstruction or sign, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) and not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), and shall be responsible in damages to the highway commission for all damage done to the highway in violation of Section 65-7-53.Codes, Hemingway's 1921 Supp. § 7259u1; 1930, § 6339; 1942, § 8313; Laws, 1920, ch. 264.
