Section 67-1-43 - Obtaining alcoholic beverages from source other than department; penalty

Any authorized retail distributor who shall purchase or receive alcoholic beverages from any source except from the department or its warehouse operator, unless authorized by rules and regulations of the department promulgated under Section 67-1-41, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), nor more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00), to which may be added imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six (6) months.
