Emerging crop designations shall include, but not be limited to:(a) Blueberries;(b) Muscadines;(c) Christmas trees;(d) Aquaculture, including any species from the Gulf of Mexico and its tributaries;(e) Horticulture;(f) Rabbit farming and processing; and(g) Others designated by the Mississippi Development Authority or Legislature.Emerging crop designations shall not include medical cannabis establishments as defined in the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act.Laws, 1987, ch. 482, § 6; Laws, 1996, ch. 415, § 2; Laws, 1998, ch. 536, § 8, eff. 4/9/1998.Amended by Laws, 2022, ch. 303, SB 2095,§ 98, eff. 2/2/2022.
