Section 69-2-33 - Duties of Attorney General with respect to bonds and notes; costs of issuing bonds and notes

Except as otherwise authorized in Section 7-5-39, the Attorney General of the State of Mississippi shall represent the department in issuing, selling and validating bonds or notes authorized under Sections 69-2-19 through 69-2-39 of this chapter, and the department is authorized to pay from the proceeds derived from the sale of such bonds or notes, or from other funds available to the department, the reasonable cost of approving attorney's fees, validating, printing and cost of delivery of such bonds or notes.Laws, 1987, ch. 482, § 17; Laws, 1988, ch. 580, § 22; Laws, 2012, ch. 546, § 30, eff. 7/1/2012.
