Section 69-2-7 - Encouragement of new crops and more profitable enterprises

(1) The Legislature states that the purpose of Sections 69-2-7 through 69-2-17 of this chapter is to encourage the production of crops (plant or animal) on Mississippi farms which have not been previously produced commercially.(2) It is the intent of the Legislature to encourage the farm sector of this state to shift from enterprises with low profit margins to those with higher profit margins.Laws, 1987, ch. 482, § 4, eff. 4/15/1987.
