Section 69-27-2 - State Soil and Water Conservation Committee renamed; transfer of powers and duties to State Soil and Water Conservation Commission

The State Soil and Water Conservation Committee is hereby renamed the State Soil and Water Conservation Commission. The State Soil and Water Conservation Commission shall retain all powers and duties as were accorded to the committee, and wherever the term 'State Soil and Water Conservation Committee' or 'committee' appears in any law heretofore or hereafter enacted, the same shall be construed to mean the State Soil and Water Conservation Commission.Laws, 1974, ch. 357, § 1, eff. 3/14/1974.
