Section 69-27-369 - Sale of equipment by Commission; retention and use of funds solely for purchase of equipment

(1) The Soil and Water Conservation Commission is hereby authorized to retain all funds generated from the sale of equipment. Any funds made available from the sale of equipment shall be deposited into the special fund in the State Treasury to the credit of the Soil and Water Conservation Commission and shall be used solely for the purpose of purchasing equipment.(2) Sales of equipment may be made by the Soil and Water Conservation Commission by any lawful method, including public auction. The Department of Audit shall adopt rules and regulations governing any sale conducted by public auction.Laws, 1993, ch. 384, § 1, eff. 7/1/1993.
