Any person who uses or causes to be used a moisture-measuring device in commerce with the knowledge that such device has not been inspected and approved by the department, in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.Laws, 1978, ch. 466, § 8, eff. 7/1/1978.
