Section 7-1-23 - Compensation of investigators of crime

The governor shall fix the compensation and travel and expense allowances to be paid investigators and other persons employed under the provisions of Sections 7-1-19 through 7-1-23, and shall furnish such investigators with such weapons, equipment, materials, articles, and supplies as may be necessary, suitable, and desirable to enable such investigators and other persons to discharge and carry out the duties imposed on them under the provisions of said sections. All expenses incurred hereunder shall be paid out of such funds as are specifically appropriated for the purposes hereof.Codes, 1942, § 3980.5; Laws, 1947, 2nd Ex. ch. 2, §§ 1-4.
