Section 7-5-47 - Suits on bonds of state officers

The attorney general or his assistant, when required by the governor, shall institute suits for the benefit of the state on the bond of any state officer in any case in which said officer has been guilty of any neglect or violation of his official duties.Codes, 1880, § 255; 1892, § 192; 1906, § 198; Hemingway's 1917, § 3486; 1930, § 3671; 1942, § 3842.
