Every state department, division, officer, board, commission, institution or other agency owned or controlled by the state, collecting or receiving public funds or monies from any source whatever to be deposited in the State Treasury for the use of the state or any state agency, shall pay such monies to the State Fiscal Officer, who shall issue his warrant or certificate of receipt therefor, specifying the amount and the particular account on which such payment is to be made.Codes, 1942, § 3852-08; Laws, 1962, ch. 483, § 8; Laws, 1984, ch. 488, § 97; Laws, 1989, ch. 532, § 8; Laws, 1994, ch. 391, § 1, eff. 7/1/1994.
