Section 7-7-73 - Embezzlement by public officer or employee

When the state auditor shall have reason to believe that a public officer or employee has embezzled any public funds, he shall notify the governor and the proper district attorney, and shall attend the trial as a witness for the state, if necessary.Codes, 1942, § 3867-04; Laws, 1970, ch. 542, § 4, eff. 4/6/1970.
