The State Auditor, when conducting agency audits, shall test to determine whether or not the state institutions of higher learning and any state agency which does not draw warrants on the Treasury have either received approval of the Attorney General or complied with the provisions of Section 7-5-39, with regard to any contract for legal services.Laws, 1991, ch. 473 § 2; Laws, 2012, ch. 546, § 8, eff. 7/1/2012.
