Section 71-1-23 - Sheriff to enforce law

It shall be the special duty of the sheriff of the county in which the mill, cannery, workshop, factory, or manufacturing establishment employing child labor is located to visit, at least once each month, such mill, cannery, workshop, factory, or manufacturing establishment to see to the enforcement of this chapter.Codes, Hemingway's 1917, § 4518; 1930, § 4648; 1942, § 6988; Laws, 1914, ch. 164; Laws, 1924, ch. 314.
