Section 71-5-533 - Appeal by commission

The commission shall be authorized to appeal from decisions of the board of review involving questions of interpretation of this chapter. Such appeals shall be served upon the other parties to the decision of the board of review and shall be heard by the courts in the manner as provided in Section 71-5-531. Such an appeal by the commission under this section shall not have the effect of denying benefits to any claimant who has been awarded benefits by virtue of the decision of the board of review from which the appeal is taken.Codes, 1942, § 7389; Laws, 1940, ch. 295; Laws, 1958, ch. 533, § 4j; Laws, 1964, ch. 442, § 1j.
