In order to safeguard life, health and property, no person shall practice architecture in this state, or use the title 'architect,' or any prefix, suffix or other form thereof, or any title, sign, card or device to indicate that such person is practicing architecture, or is an architect, unless such person shall have secured from the board a license as hereinafter set forth, as architect, in the manner hereinafter provided, and shall thereafter comply with the provisions of this chapter.Codes, 1942, § 8632-01; Laws, 1954, ch. 320, § 1; Laws, 1976, ch. 363, § 1; reenacted, Laws, 1983, ch. 377, § 1, eff. 7/1/1983.
