(1) All fees from examination, registration and licensure of nurses as provided for hereafter, and all monies coming into possession of the board from any source whatsoever, shall be paid to the treasurer who shall issue receipts therefor and the same shall be deposited in the state treasury to the credit of the board.(2) The funds collected by this board shall be expended only pursuant to appropriation approved by the legislature and as provided by law.(3) The treasurer and executive director shall execute surety bonds in a sum to be determined by the board, conditioned upon the faithful performance of their duties and upon their accounting for all monies coming into their hands. The premium for the bond shall be paid by the board funds.
