Section 73-23-65 - Physical Therapy Advisory Council Board abolished; transfer of powers to Department of Health

The Physical Therapy Advisory Council is abolished. All of the powers and duties of the State Board of Health and the State Department of Health regarding the licensure and regulation of the profession of physical therapy in the State of Mississippi are transferred to the State Board of Physical Therapy. Any property, contractual rights and obligations and unexpended funds of the State Board of Health and the State Department of Health relating to the licensure and regulation of the profession of physical therapy in the State of Mississippi are transferred to the State Board of Physical Therapy.Laws, 1990, ch. 501, § 1; Laws, 2002, ch. 449, § 14, eff. 7/1/2002.
