Any person who represents himself or herself by the title 'Licensed Professional Counselor' or 'Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor' without having first complied with the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) nor more than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) for each offense.Laws, 1985, ch. 354, § 10, eff. 7/1/1985.Amended by Laws, 2018, ch. 390, HB 708,§ 11, eff. 7/1/2018.
