For the purposes of making such investigations as he may deem necessary for the proper administration of this chapter, the State Fire Marshal shall have the inquisitorial powers and shall be empowered to subpoena witnesses and examine them under oath, provided that all testimony, documents and other evidence required to be submitted to the State Fire Marshal pursuant to this chapter shall be privileged and shall not be admissible as evidence in any other proceeding.Added by Laws, 2014, ch. 525, SB 2697, 15, eff. 7/1/2014.
