A document in due form purporting to be a bill of lading, policy or certificate of insurance, official weigher's or inspector's certificate, consular invoice, or any other document authorized or required by the contract to be issued by a third party is prima facie evidence of its own authenticity and genuineness and of the facts stated in the document by the third party.Present § 75-1-307 is derived from former § 75-1-202 [Codes, 1942, § 41A:1-202; Laws, 1966, ch. 316, § 1-202, eff. 3/31/1968; repealed by Laws, 2010, ch. 506, § 44, eff. 7/1/2010] and was enacted by Laws, 2010, ch. 506, § 3, eff. 7/1/2010.
