Section 75-12-33 - Creation and retention of electronic records and conversion of written records by governmental agencies

The executive authority of each governmental agency of this state shall determine whether, and the extent to which, it will create and retain electronic records and convert written records to electronic records subject to applicable policies and standards of the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services and the Mississippi Department of Archives and History as may be adopted pursuant to law. Laws, 2001, ch. 400, § 17, eff. 7/1/2001.
