Section 75-19-3 - Instruments to be interpreted and enforced without reference to seals

Any instrument of writing made and delivered by a private person without a seal or scroll, or other semblance or representation of a seal, shall be operative according to the intent of the maker, as expressed in the writing, in the same manner and as to full extent as if the seal of the maker were thereto affixed.Codes, 1880, § 994; 1892, § 4080; 1906, § 4632; Hemingway's 1917, § 7420; 1930, § 3303; 1942, § 261.
