Section 75-43-49 - Warehouse receipts not to be issued except for actual storage nor for quantities greater than actually stored

No warehouse receipt shall be issued, unless the grain for which it is to be issued is actually present in storage in the warehouse, nor shall any receipt be issued for a greater quantity of grain than is in storage in the warehouse, nor shall more than one (1) receipt be issued for the same lot of grain, except in cases where a receipt for a part of a lot is desired, and then the aggregate receipts for a particular lot shall cover that lot and no more.Laws, 1978, ch. 434, § 23, eff. 7/1/1978.
