(1) The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all grain warehouses and to the operations of such grain warehouses whether or not any of the grain therein is owned by the warehouseman, unless such grain warehouse is licensed under the provisions of the United States Warehouse Act, as amended.(2) The provisions and definitions of the Uniform Commercial Code relating to warehouse receipts to the extent not inconsistent with this chapter shall govern warehouse receipts issued by grain warehousemen.Laws, 1977, ch. 409, § 2; Laws, 1981, ch. 354, § 2, eff. 7/1/1981.
