Section 75-51-7 - Markings on, and standards for, hot water storage hot water storage tanks

Any storage tank hereafter installed for domestic hot water shall have clearly and indelibly stamped in the metal, or so marked upon a plate welded thereto, or otherwise permanently attached, the maximum allowable working pressure. Such markings shall be in an accessible position outside of the tank so as to make inspection or reinspection readily possible. All storage tanks for domestic hot water shall meet the applicable American Society of Mechanical Engineers or American Gas Association standards.Codes, 1942, § 5131-64; Laws, 1968, ch. 529, § 4, eff. 10/6/1968.
