It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell or offer to sell, at auction, any such gold, silver, plated ware, clocks, watches, cut glass, china ware, or jewelry from the 1st day of April to the 30th day of September, both inclusive, between the hours of seven o'clock in the evening and seven o'clock the following morning, and from the 1st day of October to the 31st day of March, both inclusive, between the hours of five o'clock in the evening and eight o'clock the following morning.Codes, 1930, § 3717; 1942, § 5148; Laws, 1926, ch. 174.
