A pledgor shall have no obligation to redeem pledged goods or make any payment on a pawn transaction. Pledged goods not redeemed within thirty (30) days following the originally fixed maturity date shall automatically be forfeited to the pawnbroker by operation of this section, and absolute right, title and interest in and to such goods shall automatically vest to the pawnbroker.Laws, 1993, ch. 598, § 6, eff. 7/1/1993.
