Sections 75-72-101 through 75-72-121 shall be administered by the secretary of state, who may promulgate regulations necessary to carry out the purposes of Sections 75-72-101 through 75-72-121, and shall promulgate such rules as may be necessary to ensure that the application and administration of Sections 75-72-101 through 75-72-121 is not inconsistent with the regulation of tender offers under the United States Securities Exchange Act of 1934.Laws, 1980, ch. 418, § 8, eff. 7/1/1980.
