Section 75-76-145 - Civil actions to restrain violations of Gaming Control Act

(1) The Attorney General, at the request of the executive director or the commission, may institute a civil action in any court of this state against any person subject to this chapter, to restrain a violation of this chapter.(2) The court shall give priority over other civil actions to an action brought pursuant to this section.(3) An action brought against a person pursuant to this section shall not preclude a criminal action or administrative proceeding against that person.Laws, 1990 Ex Sess, ch. 45, § 73, eff. 6/29/1990.
