The commission may adopt regulations providing for the review and approval of corporate acquisitions, repurchases of securities and corporate defense tactics affecting corporate gaming licensees and publicly traded corporations that are affiliated companies. The regulations must be consistent with:(a) The policy of this state as expressed in this chapter;(b) The provisions of this chapter;(c) The requirements of the Constitution of the United States; and(d) Federal regulation of securities.Laws, 1990 Ex Sess, ch. 45, § 125, eff. 6/29/1990.
