Section 75-79-19 - Penalty for operating without license

Any person who operates a pulpwood receiving facility as defined in Section 75-79-5 without a proper license shall upon a first conviction thereof be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than three hundred dollars ($300.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), and upon a second or subsequent conviction thereof, he shall be punished by a fine of not less than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00).Laws, 1982, ch. 317, § 6, eff. 7/1/1982.
