Section 77-9-511 - Powers of officers appointed and commissioned in other states

The governor of this state may enter into agreement with the governor of any other state empowering qualified persons, as defined in Section 77-9-503(b), who are railroad police officers appointed and commissioned in either state, to exercise their powers and authority as defined in Sections 77-9-501 through 77-9-517 in the other state.Laws, 1976, ch. 441, § 6, eff. 7/1/1976.
